Tourism Ireland enlists Angela Scanlon for new campaign

Tourism Ireland has enlisted TV presenter Angela Scanlon to promote holidays along the country's Wild Atlantic Way this autumn.

Working in partnership with The Daily Telegraph, the marketing body is producing a series of four online films about driving holidays around Ireland, starring Scanlon and her father Phelim, as well as a series of articles and print ads to encourage Brits to discover the island by car. Julie Wakley, Tourism Ireland’s head of Great Britain, commented 'This targeted promotion has been specifically designed to highlight autumn breaks along the Wild Atlantic Way and to appeal to our "culturally curious" audience in Great Britain... Our promotion with Angela Scanlon and The Daily Telegraph fits very well with this important demographic'.
